Nigeria forward, Franklin Sasere has secured a move to 20-time Hungarian champions, Ujpest FC for an undisclosed transfer fee and length of the contract.
The giant forward will team up with fellow Nigerians, Vincent Onovo and Peter Ambrose at Ujpest for the new season.
His former club, FC Vaduz appreciated the striker for his dedication during his time at the club.
The Sporting Director, Franz Burgmeier said “We would like to thank Franklin for the services he has rendered and his commitment to FC Vaduz and wish him all the best both in sport and in his private life and above all good health.
Reciprocating the gesture, Franklin Sasere thanked his former club for the interesting and successful experience he had while playing for the club.
He wrote “Dear @FC Vaduz I would like to say thank you to the club’s board, to the coaches and teammates I’ve had, and of course to the fans: It’s been a pleasure and an honour to play for this club. We had a very interesting and successful time with international experiences which I will never forget. Thank you!”
Franklin Sasere will be looking forward to helping Ujpest FC secure the Hungarian league title ahead of other teams in the division.
