Members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Araromi Obu branch paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Secretariat in Araromi Obu, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo state.
The Chairman of Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area, Honourable Adeolu Akinseyoju received the visitors and had positive interactions with them on issues concerning the development of the local council.
This was revealed in a statement signed by the Special Assistant To The Chairman on New Media, Comrade Olatunji Babatunde.
The Chairman, Hon. Adeolu Akinseyoju appreciated the visit of the Christian body and reiterated his love for God and humanity. He also spoke about his support for the Christian body.
He encouraged the Christian Association to support him and the government of Ondo State in prayer and counsel when necessary.
CAN Chairman, Araromi Obu branch, Pastor V.A Akintunji congratulated Honourable Adeolu on his appointment as the pioneering chairman, Araromi Obu LCDA and prayed that Araromi Obu will experience positive development during his administration.
He charged the chairman to be proactive, productive and diplomatic in his leadership, as expectations are high as people desire to witness positive changes in the area.
Hon. Adeolu Akinseyoju while reacting to Araromi Obu branch CAN Chairman words promised to work for the development of the local council with total commitment.
He said “I am one of you. I understand the challenges facing Araromi Obu and I pledge to serve with total commitment, to take Araromi Obu to a place of development and progress.”
In another development, the Executive Chairman has announced the appointments of personal aides who will be working with him during his time as the head of the LCDA.
He announced the appointment of Mr Olafusi Akinpelumi as Personal Assistant to the Chairman, Mr Ayeni Ayodele as Special Assistant to the Chairman on Media and Publicity while Comrade Olatunji Babatunde was named Special Assistant to the Chairman on New Media.
The Chairman congratulated the new appointees and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by performing excellently in their new offices.
