Nigeria’s multi-award-winning singer Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake has emerged as the winner of the prestigious Next Rated award at the 2023 Headies awards on Sunday night.
The award ceremony which was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, United States of America brought the best musicians from Nigeria and across Africa under one roof.
Asake defeated the likes of Seyi Vibez, Young John, Victony, and Spyro to clinch the prestigious award which honours the best emerging talent that is tipped to dominate the Nigeria music industry.
The YBNL act, who has taken the music industry by storm since his emergence was handed the prestigious award at the ceremony to the delight of the musician and his crew who accompanied on stage.
