President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has signed the student loan bill into law.
He appended his signature to the bill on Monday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja which gives the Federal Government’s approval to the much discussed bill.
In November 2022, the legislation, which seeks to provide financial assistance to Nigerian students in tertiary institutions, was passed by the national assembly.
The bill was sponsored by Femi Gbajabiamila who was the immediate-past speaker of the house of representatives.
