An Akure High Court has nullified the creation of thirty-three Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Ondo State.
The court gave the judgement today in Akure where it declared as illegal the creation of thirty-three Local Government Development Areas in Ondo state.
The thirty-three Local Council Development Areas were established during the tenure of the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu but their creation has been deemed illegal and unconstitutional by court.
Justice A.O Adebusuoye, described the Local Council Development Areas as not created lawfully and therefore ruled that they should no longer exist.
