Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo has announced the donation of three hundred motorcycles to security agencies in the state in order to boost security in the state.
According to a statement published on his X handle, Okpebholo donated the motorcycles to security agencies across the state to help them perform their duties of protecting the lives and properties of people in the state better.
He also hinted that the state will not be a place where criminal elements will enjoy conducting their illicit operations while he is the governing it.
It read “Earlier this week, I fulfilled yet another promise to the good people of Edo State.
I commissioned over 300 motorbikes for our security agencies, to be deployed across the three senatorial districts.
“These bikes will help our security operatives access remote and forest areas where criminals often seek refuge.
“Let me be clear: criminals have no hiding place in Edo State. Under my watch, we will continue to strengthen our security system, maintain it, and ensure peace and safety for every Edo citizen.”
