Billionaire, Elon Musk has been knocked off his perch as the richest man in the world as he slipped to fourth on the latest ranking announcement.
Musk, who is the owner of X (formerly known as Twitter), Tesla, Starlink and others has lost his position at the top of the rich list after his challenges with Tesla which resulted in a massive loss.
Elon Musk’s wealth shrunk by $48.4 billion this year due to the Tesla problems which pushed him down the pecking order and allowed the likes of Founder and CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg move ahead of him.
Musk currently has a net worth of $180.6 billion which places him behind his rival, whose companies are experiencing massive gains and accumulating more investments across the world.
Mark Zuckerberg currently occupies the third position on the list after he added $58.9 billion to his fortune as his company hit new highs. He is currently worth $186.9 billion.
The Top two positions on the list are currently occupied by Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault with their current net worth rising beyond the $200 billion mark.
Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos is second on the list with a net worth of $207.3 billion while the Chairman of luxury giant LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Bernard Arnault tops the list with a net worth of $223.4 billion.
