Supporters of Sunshine Queens Football Club are drumming up support for the team ahead of their Nigerian Women Football League clash with Edo Queens in Akure.
They are also charging the team to approach match against the Benin outfit like a final and with the intention of picking the maximum three points available to them.
Chairman of Sunshine Stars/Queens supporters club, Mr Babatunde Adeboboye stated this in a chat with the team’s media at the Ondo State Sports complex in Akure on Tuesday.
He added that the players must be up and doing when they take on their visitors tomorrow afternoon, adding that they should play with their heart.
“They should match their opponent strength with strength, and must be focused from the blast of the whistle to the end minutes.”
Adeboboye urged the team to play the week three encounter like a final, saying the maximum points is a must for the Akure Landladies.
He promised to mobilise members of the supporters club for the all important match.
He said: “We are with the team, it’s our primary assignment to support both Sunshine Stars/ Sunshine Queens at all times”.
“”We will be on ground to cheer them up from the beginning to the end .”
The ladies are making us happy, we watched their first match against Bayelsa Queens here in Akure, we also monitored their away game against FC Robo , they are doing well.
