Security expert and prominent son of Akure kingdom, Olufemi Meshe, has congratulated the Deji, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, CFR, Odundun II, on the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree on him by Achievers University, Owo, as part of activities marking the 15th convocation ceremony held within the university’s campus in Owo on Saturday, 13th December, 2025.
According to him, the conferment is an honour well deserved by the foremost traditional ruler.
In a statement he personally signed, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Inter Atlas Synergy Limited highlighted the peaceful reign of Oba Aladetoyinbo which has brought tremendous growth and development to the length and breadth of Akure kingdom cannot be overlooked, hence the applause and series of recognitions beyond the shores of the kingdom.
While commending Achievers University for the recognition, Mr Meshe noted the impact such honour would have on the revered monarch in terms of motivation to do more for Akure, Nigeria, and humanity in general.
He noted “This recognition, definitely, is in appreciation of the achievements of His Majesty and his sacrifices as a philanthropist and a committed grassroots developer.”
He prayed that God will continue to strengthen Oba Aladetoyinbo, who is also the current Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, which is also a testament of his service to Nigeria beyond the territorial confines of the throne.
He said “It is interesting to also note that Oba Aladetoyinbo is a holder of the prestigious title of the Justice of the Peace, and he is indeed a man of peace, which has engendered unmatched development of the Ondo State capital since he ascended the throne of his forebears.
“Kabiyesi remains an inspiration to many, both old and young and I am very proud to always be associated with him.” Femi Meshe concluded.
