Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN) has returned to the country from his medical vacation in Germany.
Governor Akeredolu reportedly flew into the country on Thursday and has since moved to Ibadan in Oyo state where he is expected to be before resuming back to office in Akure.
Akeredolu left the shores of the country for Germany on medical vacation on June 7, 2023 after handing over the reigns of power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa who has been the Acting Governor since then.
The Governor’s picture inside an aeroplane he boarded surfaced online and was supported by a Facebook post reportedly made by he First Lady, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu to announce that they were heading to the country.
A source who do not want to be named confirmed that Governor Akeredolu is back in the country and will be resuming back to his office when he is fully rested and informed the state house of assembly of his readiness to resume.
