The Chairman, Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Pastor Adeolu Akinseyoju paid an unscheduled visit to the site of an ongoing bridge reconstruction project at Temidire village, Oniparaga ward in Ifesowapo LCDA.
According to a statement signed by the SA to the Chairman on Media and Publicity, Ayeni E Ayodele, the construction of a bridge for the community became a necessity as the former pedestrian bridge in the community had almost become impassable for residents of the village.
During the visit, Hon. Akinseyoju expressed his delight with the level of work done and commended the Engineer of the Local Government for his professionalism which reflected on the level of job done so far.
The chairman also commended members of the community for their cooperation with the workers at the site of the project.
The construction of the bridge is a testament to the commitment of the chairman to bring development to the people across the LCDA.
