A middle aged man, Adesogba Adekusibe is in the custody of the Nigeria Police Force, Osun state command for allegedly posting a hateful content on his Twitter account.
According to a statement released on the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Police Force on Friday, Adesogba Adekusibe posted the content on his Twitter account on May 18, 2023.
He allegedly made the inciting post calling for the flushing out Igbos from Yoruba land because he hated them with passion. He allegedly described the Igbos as violent people who hate Yorubas and deserved to be hated.
It read “The Osun State Police Command has arrested one Kehinde Adesogba Adekusibe ‘m’ 28years for posting hateful content calculated to incite ethnic violence in the country via his Twitter account on May 18, 2023.”
“The suspect will be arraigned in court upon completion of investigation.”
