A former President of the United States of America, Barrack Obama has described the spending bill presented by current President, Donald Trump as one which will strip Americans of much needed healthcare coverage.
He made this known in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) where he counted the cost of cutting federal funding for Medicaid and weakening the Affordable Care Act.
He said “More than 16 million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are rushing to pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act.
“If the House passes this bill, it will increase costs and hurt working class families for generations to come. Call your representative today and tell them to vote no on this bill.”
Meanwhile, President Trump is leaving no stone unturned for the parliament to pass the spending bill before July 4 despite opposition from individuals and groups to the bill.
