The All Progressives Congress (APC) have announced that the party’s primary election for the November 16, 2024 Governorship election in Ondo State will take place in April.
The party also announced that expression of interest and nomination forms will be sold to aspirants for a combined sum of fifty million naira each.
This information was contained in the timetable and schedule of activities released by the party on Monday and signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaimon Argungu.
The APC said that the sale of nominations, expression of interest and delegates forms for contestants will begin on April 3 and end on April 10, 2024, while the primary election is slated for April 25, 2024.
While expression of Interest will cost aspirants the sum of N10m each, Nomination forms are to be sold to the aspirants for the sum of N40m each.
Female aspirants and persons living with disabilities are directed to pay for Expression of Interest while the Nomination Form will be obtained at no cost.
The party also stated that Youths from 25 to 40 years are to purchase Expression of Interest forms while they enjoy a 50% discount on Nomination Forms for the primary election.
