The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has opted for the option of direct method of voting for its Ondo state Governorship Primary Election slated for April 20.
At the close of work on Wednesday which was the deadline for the purchase of the forms, no fewer than 16 aspirants picked the Nomination and Expression of Interest forms ahead of the April 20 party’s governorship primary election.
On the mode of the primary, it was gathered that the Dr Abdullahi Ganduje-led National Working Committee NWC had written to notify the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
About 14 male aspirants picked the forms for N50 million each while two female contenders paid N10 million each for the expression of interest form, following the decision of the party to grants some concessions to female aspirants and persons with disabilities who were exempted from paying the N40 million fee for nomination forms.
