The Chairman, Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo state, Honorable Adeolu Akinseyoju has encourage the Ondo state government to intervene in the construction of Labata Bridge in Araromi Obu community.
The Chairman made this appeal during his visit to the Labata river bridge construction site.
The bridge, which is a major link between Araromi Obu and other neighboring communities requires attention to make it useful for people residing in those communities.
He further commended FADAMA and members of the community for taking it upon themselves to fix the bridge and encouraged them not to relent in their contribution to fix the bridge.
He assured them that the government of the Ondo state under the leadership of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will intervene in the matter very soon.
A leader of the community, Elder Ogundayomi (JP) appealed to both Ondo state government and FADAMA project State Coordinator, Mr Olusiji Olatunji for timely intervention.
