The lawmaker representing Ondo East Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oladiji “Landmark” Olamide has described securing the establishment of a deep sea port in Ondo state as an attainment of immortality by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN).
The lawmaker said on Thursday that Governor Akeredolu has attained immortality in the hearts of the people of Ondo State by working assiduously to secure operating licence for the Ondo Port as generations yet unborn would know and appreciate Akeredolu’s efforts in having such a landmark achievement.
Oladiji described Governor Akeredolu as a visionary leader and selfless leader whose relentless and committed efforts to secure Ondo port’s approval has set the state on the path of economic prosperity.
He said “Governor Akeredolu truly deserves commendation for fulfilling his electoral promise by securing approval for Ondo Port. The governor his indeed given a generational gift to the people of Ondo State. This gift is of course the very best in the governance history of Ondo State.”
“Aketi has truly proven himself to be a selfless leader that is driven by vision and mission. It can only take a visionary leader like Aketi to have given everything in his bid to secure operating license for Port Ondo. The man is not unmindful that he must have completed his tenure by the time the port will commence operation. Yet, the vision driven governor still gave his all to secure the licence approval for the benefits of even unborn generations”.
Oladiji urged the people of Ondo State to continue giving their total support to Governor Akeredolu so that he can continue to his visionary leadership in the state.
“people of Ondo state now have every reason to rejoice and to also show appreciation for the role played by Governor Akeredolu in making what used to be a dream become a reality. Our selfless and ‘Talk and Do’ Governor can only be appreciated by showing total support to his administration.”
