The lives and fortunes of about fifty young individuals in Ondo kingdom have been impacted positively after attending the recently concluded one month free training on computer basics programme held in the community.
The free digital literacy programme was organized by Ajaxcoo Grafix and Flymatas Business Management Consult to help develop young people in the community on how to harness the numerous opportunities that are available in the modern digital world.
The grand finale of the four weeks training which was held on Friday, 15th September 2023 at Gbogi Court, Okegbogi Street, Ondo City, Ondo State was attended by dignitaries from different fields, beneficiaries, their parents and well-wishers.

The Director, Ajaxcoo Grafix, Stephen Gbenga Oluleye talked about the free training programme, how participants were carefully introduced into the digital world through the teaching and learning of the basic operations of the computer plus the practical and theoretical aspects of softwares like Microsoft Word, Corel Draw and Microsoft Excel.
The CEO, Flymatas Business Management Consult, Ayorinde Alex Olubusade encouraged the participants to leverage on the knowledge they have acquired during the training to pursue their dreams of using their creative potentials to secure their place in the modern technological world.
The Guest Speaker who is the Group CEO of Ondo Eki Chat Show Worldwide, Princess Fadejogun Ade-Ayoola in her talk themed “Digital Skills and the Future” emphasized the importance of of understanding the evolution of technology through the ages, their uses and the importance of acquiring digital skills in the modern world.
The Founder, Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative, Akingbade Toluwa-Jolomi provided free vocational training in photography, fashion designing and frame making for participants during the one month programme.
The participants successfully showcased their newly acquired skills before their tutors, parents and well-wishers who applauded their mastery of the various technological skills within a very short period of time.
A major highlight of the event was the presentation of laptops to the three best participants of the free training programme as tools to help them venture into the digital world and harness their potentials positively.
The winners of the laptops were Akinbinu Jephthah (overall Best student), Adebisi Odunayo (1st Runner-up) and Akinkunmi Cynthia (2nd Runner-up). Certificates were also presented to individual participants.



In her congratulatory message, The Director of Centre of Learning and Leadership Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Prof. Oluwayemisi Adebowale encouraged the winners use the laptops and their skills to achieve the desired results.
The event was also attended by other dignitaries like the President, Ekimogun Youths Connect (EYC), Mr Lucas Kakaki Famakinwa, Principal HANDROMI Entrepreneurship School, Mr. Henry Ogunribido, Rev. and Rev. Mrs. Leye Williams among others.
Airtel Nigeria was also present at the event and gave out various gifts to the participants.
