The president of Ekimogun Youths Connect Comrade Famakinwa Lucaskakaki has threatened to legally lock up hotels in Ondo kingdom who are found guilty of admitting underage persons into their hotels as guests.
In the letter tagged “A Clarion call,” the group’s president complained about the indecency and indefensible influx of teenagers into hotels in the community.
He made this known in a letter made available to Climax News Hub and shared on various social media platforms.
He said “As a formidable youth organisation in Ondo Kingdom poised to coordinate, correct, connect, give orientation and reorientation to the youths to have the expected and assured society, we find it important to speak up on some issues happening in our community.
“The report of hotel owners and hotel managers who allow indefensible influx of teenagers, especially secondary school students, into their hotels is already a heap on our table.
“We have done our underground work to prove the authenticity of this information and have gathered that not all hotels are involved in this unceremonious act, but a few popular ones have been caught in the act.”
He added that it is against the morals of the community to allow underaged persons into such places and legal actions will be taken against hotels that are found guilty of allowing minors into their premises.

He said “Ondo Kingdom is a community of elites built with integrity by different men and women of honour.
“The youths will frown at any villain, hiding under the pretence of doing business sabotaging the efforts of great Ondo men and women who have built a community of repute.
“As a stakeholder in the community and the president of Ekimogun Youths Connect, I make bold to say that Ondo hotels should refrain from this indecent and obscene act. Underage person(s) who come to your hotels should be sent back to their parents from the gate.
“Ekimogun Youths Connect will lose respect for any hotelier who wants to cripple decency in Ondo and we will not hesitate to report to the appropriate quarters.”
Comrade Famakinwa also called on leaders in the community to join the youths in putting an end to the problem in the interest of the entire community.
“Our leaders, fathers, community stakeholders, religious leaders and business owners should please join their voices with us to fight this once and forever! The goal of this prognosis is is not to depress anyone but rather to serve as a clarion call to action.”
The letter was also directed to institutions such as The Nigeria Police Force, Civil Defence Corps, Department of State Services, Hoteliers and Youths in Ondo East and West Local Government areas of Ondo State.
