The Nigeria Police Force, Ondo State command has commenced investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 28-year-old final year student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), Precious Arobo.
Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ayanlade Olayinka, revealed that the command has commenced an investigation into the incident and assured that the true cause of the student’s death will be uncovered.
According to reports, Arobo, a Higher National Diploma (HND) II student, was found dead in a bush near his residence by local residents with claims that he allegedly left behind a suicide note before hanging himself.
It was reported that the suicide note hinted that he was suffering from emotional distress believed to be related to a troubled relationship and his parents have since buried his corpse.
