Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema has carted home the prestigious Best Afrobeats award at the 2023 MTV EMAs.
The event held on Sunday, November 5, at the Paris Nord Villepinte, France pitted Rema against Afrobeats heavyweights from across Nigeria and Africa but the rave of the moment saw off his competitors to take home the award.
Rema was in the same category with the likes of Davido, Burna Boy, Asake, Aya Nakamura, and Ayra Starr but managed to add the award to his catalog.
