Nigeria’s first Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has empowered 500 hundred women across twenty one local government areas of Kogi State to enable them become self reliant and contribute to the nations economy.
Items presented to beneficiaries are rice, grinding machines, refrigerators, generator sets and Gas cookers.
Wife of the kogi State Governor, Sefinat Ahmed Ododo on behalf of the first lady of Nigeria said the empowerment is towards uplifting the standards of women in the country to enable them become outstanding business women, who are self reliant to contribute to nation building.
She expresses gratitude to senator Oluremi Tinubu for her unwavering support to women in Kogi state and charged beneficiaries, to make judicious use of the items to better their lives.
