With players like Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, William Troost-Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Nwabali, Kelechi Iheanacho, Calvin Bassey and others available for selections, Augustine Eguavoen will have enough firepower to shoot down the Cheetahs in Ivory Coast.
However, the Super Eagles are wary of the danger that the Benin Republic side possess with former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr securing a 2-1 win for the Cheetah when Nigeria played them in a 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier.
Even though the Super Eagles got a resounding 3-0 victory when they met in Nigeria for the first leg of the AFCON qualifier match, they will be wary of the damage Gernot Rohr and his team can do to the Super Eagles’ ambitions.
