Pesident Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has sent congratulatory message to the Osemawe and Paramount ruler of Ondo kingdom, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, Jilo III, on the occasion of his 70th birthday and the celebration of his 17th year on the throne of his ancestors.
In a message released on Sunday, President Tinubu eulogized the Osemawe as an agent of positive development who continues to bring significant social and economic transformation into the kingdom since he ascended the throne.
The message was released by the Chairman of the Anniversary Planning Committee, Chief Steve Akinretoye on Sunday.
It read “I write with joy to wish Your Imperial Majesty a happy 70th birthday and to congratulate you on your 17th Coronation Anniversary.
“I vividly recall the circumstances almost two decades ago when Your Imperial Majesty left your successful private medical practice in Lagos to ascend the throne of your forefathers as the Osemawé and Paramount Ruler of the Ondo Kingdom.
“It is evident that 17 years later, you have admirably filled that expansive office, confirming the wisdom of the kingmakers of Ondo who chose you as the next Osemawe in 2006.
“Today, the impact of your reign over the Ondo Ekimogun people is visible across the community, touching practically all aspects of human endeavor. Your support for agencies, institutions, programs, and government officials as they engage with your community has not gone unnoticed.”
He appreciated the traditional ruler for his kind gestures towards him and his administration and prayed that his reign will continue to bring more gains into Ondo kingdom.
“On a personal note, I appreciate the two letters of congratulations you sent to me upon my victory in the February polls and my subsequent inauguration as President.
“I pray that the years ahead are even more remarkable for you, your family, and the people of Ondo Kingdom. May your reign continue to be fruitful and prosperous. Please accept the best wishes of my family, the Federal Government, and the people of Nigeria as you celebrate both anniversaries.”
