The Quarter Final matches of the 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League season has been concluded with some entertaining and tough clashes among teams in Europe’s elite club football competition.

The stage saw teams like Manchester City take on Real Madrid, Bayern Munich faced Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund went up against Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona faced Paris Saint Germain.

Over the two legged affairs, defending champion, Manchester City was the biggest loser as they crashed out against the most dominant team in the competition’s history, Real Madrid CF.

Manchester City crashed out after losing to Real Madrid on penalties after recording a 4-4 aggregate scoreline.

Meanwhile FC Bayern Munich also knocked out Arsenal with a 3-2 aggregate victory. The Bavarians secured a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium before recording a 1-0 victory at the Allianz Arena.

Kylian Mbappe inspired Paris Saint Germain were able to put behind them a 2-3 first leg home loss to knock out FC Barcelona with an emphatic 4-1 victory at the Sportify Camp Nou. They qualified for the last four with a 6-4 aggregate win.

Also, Borussia Dortmund were in their best form to turn around their fortunes after a 2-1 loss to Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano. They had to dig deep to record a remarkable 4-2 victory over Diego Simeone’s dogged side. They were able to secure a 5-3 aggregate win.

With the completion of the stage, Real Madrid, FC Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain and Borussia Dortmund have qualified for the semi-finals while Manchester City, Arsenal, FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have been knocked out of the competition.

In the semi-finals clashes, Paris Saint Germain will face Borussia Dortmund while Real Madrid CF will face FC Bayern Munich over two legged affairs.
