Super Eagles of Nigeria striker and former African footballer of the year winner, Victor Osimhen has won the Turkish Cup with his Turkish club, Galatasaray after a 3-0 victory of Trabzonspor.
Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray from Italian club, Napoli bagged a brace to help his temporary team to the domestic cup triumph to the delight of club supporters who are dreaming of signing him on a permanent deal this summer.
He now holds the record for the most goals by a foreign player in a single Turkish season after scoring thirty-five goals for Galatasaray in all competitions this season.
Victor Osimhen is also the Turkish Super Lig’s top goal scorer with twenty-four goals as Galatasaray sit top of the table and needs only one point to clinch the title.
Meanwhile, his future remains in the balance as he is not sure where he will be next season. He is loved at Galatasaray but he is rumoured to be on the list of top European clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United and could be joining of any of them in the summer.
