A Nigerian, Tonye Solomon has successfully set a new world record time for the longest swimming while balancing a football on the head.
The Bayelsa-born man who is not a stranger in the world of setting records with balancing a football on his head in difficult circumstances took on the challenge of beating the record of twenty-three minutes held by a Russian.
To achieve this, Tonye balanced a ball on his head while swimming across Ikoli river in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
He successfully went past the existing record of twenty-three minutes by swimming with the ball on his head for a time of thirty-seven minutes.
His successful attempt will be examined by the Guinness World Records before official announcement is made.
