Residents of Ondo town in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State woke up to a road blockade on Tuesday morning as flood took over a major road in the community after a heavy downpour in the community this morning.
Okeodunwo bridge, known to be popular spot for flooding in the community has come under the spotlight again after the bridge was completely taken over by flood stopping road users from going through the road.
According to eye witness report, one resident fell into massive water but was rescued in time by people at the scene of the incident before he could be swept away by the flood.
As at the time of filing this report, it is still raining in the community and residents are anxious about their fates if the rain persists.
