Former NBC Universal advertising chief Linda Yaccarino will become Twitter’s new CEO. Current chief executive, Elon Musk announced this in a tweet as the social media platform seeks to reverse a plunge in advertisement revenues.
“I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter!” Musk tweeted on Friday.

Yaccarino is a seasoned Ads executive. She was the chairman of global advertising and partnerships at NBCU where she worked for more than a decade and generated over $100billion in sales.
She was appointed by Donald Trump to the Presidential Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.
She worked with the White House and Pope Francis to produce COVID-19 vaccination campaigns. She is reported to be about 60 years of age. She is also a wife and a mother.
