The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has declared that prominent Niger Delta indigene popularly known as Tompolo have questions to answer over his alleged Naira abuse.
The financial crimes watchdog came under intense scrutiny from Nigerians over the video of Tompolo which went viral on the social media with people demanding that the EFCC takes actions like they did in cases that involved other persons.
The EFCC was called out on social media platform, X with posts describing the agency as one that is partial in it’s fight against naira abuse and calling it to be impartial in it’s dealings.

GuyEsq posted “@officialEFCC Iknow you guys are in church now that’s why I’m tagging so that when you’re out of service you’ll swing into action. This desecration of the naira by Tompolo must stop. Arrest him the way you’ve been arresting others.”

The EFCC responded with a post on Monday morning on it’s X handle with a photograph of Tompolo at the event where the alleged Naira abuse took place and caption it “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer.”
