Today, we celebrate more than just the passage of time; we celebrate a lifetime of excellence, integrity, and dedicated service.
As Ayo-Gbenga Olumoyegun, popularly and fondly known as Osgood, marks another glorious year, we honour a man whose journey from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, a BSc in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an MBA from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba‑Akoko, and also a PhD in view at the University of Abuja, to the global stage at the World Bank serves as a blueprint for professional brilliance.
A Legacy of Competence and Character;With a birthday that marks over 60 years of impact, Osgood stands as a titan of administration. His academic and professional pedigree is unmatched:
A Fellow of ICAN (FCA) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACTI), with international recognition as a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia)
A seasoned Certified Project Manager with an MBA and a deep-rooted understanding of Nigeria’s economic landscape.
From his distinguished rise to Deputy Director in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation to his pivotal role as a Financial Management Consultant for the World Bank-funded Mindiver Project, to representing Nigeria at major international conferences including PDAC in Canada, Africa Down Under in Australia, Mining Indaba in South Africa, IGF in Switzerland, China Mining Conference and Mines and Money in London, Osgood has proven that he not only manages resources, but also transforms them.
Having represented Nigeria’s interests in the boardrooms of London, Canada, Australia, and Switzerland, Osgood is not just an aspirant; he is a prepared statesman. As he seeks to represent the Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, he brings an unequalled experience in both management and negotiating skills required to navigate legislative horse trading in such a hallowed chamber as the revered House of Representatives. His birthday serves as a reminder of what he brings to the table such as his;
Managerial Competence: The ability to navigate complex government systems.
Corporate Strategy: A vision to attract investment and development to our communities.
Philanthropy: A heart that has consistently invested in human development long before seeking office.
On this special day, we wish you continued strength, divine wisdom, and the grace to lead our constituency into a new era of prosperity. May your new age be the beginning of your greatest chapter of service to the people of Odigbo, Okeigbo, and Ile-Oluji.
Happy Birthday, Sir! Your competence is our confidence.
