Super Falcons of Nigeria forward, Assist Oshoala was the hero for her National Women Soccer League club, Bay Football Club as she scored the lone goal that handed them a 1-0 win over Racing Louisville FC in their NWSL clash on Sunday morning.
Oshoala, who went up against her Super Falcons compatriot Uchenna Kanu secured all three points for her team right before their fans when he scored a goal in the 75th minute to hand her team the lead.
Bay FC a win over Racing Louisville in San Jose California was quite significant for the home team and Oshoala as they have won both matches between both sides with 1-0 scorelines. Both teams have only met twice and Bay FC have won both with Asisat Oshoala scoring on both occasions.
Bay FC are currently ranked 7th on the NWSL standings in their inaugural season in the NWSL while Racing Louisville occupy the 11th position on the log. They will hoping to build on this victory to move further up the table with Asisat Oshoala scoring four goals so far in the competition.
